MDT InfoTech Presented at SharePoint Conference 2009

MDT InfoTech, one of the leading offshore software outsourcing and IT consulting companies in China, presented at SharePoint Conference 2009. The event was hosted by Microsoft in Las Vegas, USA, from October 19th to 22nd. Henry Wang, President of MDT InfoTech, and David Young, VP of Marketing and Recruiting participated in this event and discussed various SharePoint-based solutions, best practices, technical topics with Microsoft, end users, consultants, and 3rd-party solution providers coming from around the globe.

At the conference, Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer announced that the public beta of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 will become available in November, and revealed some of the new SharePoint Server 2010 capabilities for the first time. He believes that SharePoint 2010 will be a business collaboration platform that connects information workers. Steve Ballmer highlighted that SharePoint 2010 will make it easier to build rich content and collaboration applications, so that organizations can respond more quickly to business needs based on a single collaboration platform. Also, the enhanced internet portal capability will help business drive revenue and retain customers on the single platform.

As SharePoint is more and more recognized as a powerful collaboration platform for business and the new version of SharePoint will be released soon, the SharePoint consulting and development team at MDT InfoTech will pay high attention to the new features and improvement in SharePoint 2010. MDT InfoTech Announced Merger Completion with CapInfoTech

MDT InfoTech, one of the leading offshore software outsourcing companies in China today announced its merger completion with another China-based outsourcing company, CapInfoTech. At the completion of merger, MDT InfoTech has strengthened its core business in offshore software outsourcing, technical onsite services, and IT consulting.

Some industry observers say that the merger of MDT InfoTech and CapInfoTech, both as medium-sized outsourcing companies in China, will not only increase the company size and reduce the operation costs, but also extend the outsourcing services that can be provided to customers. MDT InfoTech has been well known for its offshore outsourcing business as well as its end-to-end delivery capability , while CapInfoTech is an experienced onsite service provider who has established long-term outsourcing relationship with Microsoft, IBM, Google, Alibaba, etc. The merger between companies with complementary advantages has significantly expanded their business coverage and improved the ability to survive from worldwide economic downturn.

MDT Held its 2008 Annual Meeting

On January 18th, 2009, the MDT family gathered for an annual meeting to celebrate the year’s achievements and to prepare to fulfill our company goals for 2009. Spirits were high as the employees enjoyed dinner together amongst an array of shows, raffles, prizes and awards. Henry Wang, President of MDT, spoke during the meeting, reinforcing our objectives for the New Year and inspiring all MDT employees to move forward in their careers within the company. Following Henry’s presentation, seven people were announced as the Star Employees of 2008 and were presented awards for their excellent performance and unique contributions to MDT. In Shanghai, the employees of MDT’s Shanghai branch also enjoyed a similar banquet, honoring their star employees and setting the tone for a prosperous New Year.

In 2008, MDT successfully maintained business growth both in sales revenue and number of employees meanwhile establishing subsidiary offices in Shanghai, China and Seattle, Washington. Following our expansion, we were given a multitude of projects from our main clients that significantly enlarged our team size, improved our technology and facilitated further project experience. Our commitment to high quality and on-time service was highly recognized by our clients as in previous years. MDT Certified as “Software Outsourcing Corporate” by Beijing Information Technology Promotion Center

MDT successfully passed the “Software Outsourcing Corporate” certification which is hosted by Beijing Software&Information Service Development Center on Feb.19th, 2009.

Recently, Beijing has undergone massive growth in the information technology industry. As the Beijing municipal government considers outsourcing to be one of the most important sources of economic growth in the city, they established a set of criteria for certifying legitimate outsourcing companies, mostly in order to provide them quick and convenient financial and loan services. After a period of application and evaluation, MDT was awarded the “Software Outsourcing Corporate” certification. This means that MDT’s outsourcing business and its status as an outsourcing company are recognized by the organization, which can enhance our brand popularity. Furthermore, it will be easier for us to gain further support from the government.
